Letter from Julie: Our CONFIRMED dates and locations for the summer of 2010 are: 
Our focus at the JFSLA is to teach our students the ingredients it takes to be a leader on the field AND a leader in life. The JFSLA is a five-night, six-day residential Academy for girls ages 12-18. Our students get the best of both worlds: they learn soccer from some of the best women's players in the world, AND they are exposed to a multitude of leadership concepts they can cultivate for life. For returning students to the JFSLA, we incorporate a mentoring program that helps these students put their leadership skills to use. We have never felt this is just one week of soccer camp. It is about much more than teaching soccer knowledge. The Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy is a unique week that has the potential to develop better soccer players AND, most important, inspired leaders. We are constantly pleased with the positive feedback we receive from JFSLA participants and parents. Here are a few direct quotes from JFSLA girls about the impact of our week together: • “I want to try harder than ever at ALL that I do.
