*one afternoon will be reserved for the Community Service component, which could possibly include a trip off-campus organized by the JFSLA.

Guest speakers to include: (We are currently putting together our Speakers for the 2008 Academy Program)

•  Prominent leaders and pioneers in sports, politics, government, education, business, and other fields. Previous keynote speakers for the Academies have included Billie Jean King,  Stephanie Raymond (WNBA), Robin Roberts (co-host of Good Morning America) and Mia Hamm. Click here to read their bios.
  

• College prep panel: Panel (current athletes, coaches, administrators) will discuss what it takes to play at the NCAA level and the balance between collegiate academics and athletics.

• Professional panel (women leaders in the professional field including, medicine, law, business, politics). Panel to discuss obstacles they overcame and their keys to becoming a leader in life.
